Canon Rebel XSI Video – Watch & Learn
When watching the Canon Rebel XSI video, you will immediately understand why this is a good product that can be used by both amateurs and professionals. In overview, this camera has a 12.2 Megapixel CMOS, can capture 3.5 frames per second, has 3.0-inch LCD with Live View shooting, and a 9-point AF system. This was actually released prior the PMA. It also features various upgrades from the old DSLR lines and it is now packed with so many features which is ideal for advanced photography.
As mentioned, one of the best features you’ll notice in the Canon Rebel XSI video is the 12.20 Megapixel CMOS. This is certainly much better because it means that you can capture images with higher resolution and quality. However, this also means that this camera also uses more megabytes of memory. Because of this, we recommend bigger memory cards to take advantage of the higher resolution and still preserve the number of shots you can watch
There is also an Auto Optimization feature that can be availed through the custom function settings. This can be very helpful as it has the capability to lighten dark areas while maintain the tonal detail. This is very essential especially if you are not allowed to use a flash although a heavy light weight is required for the photography. In general, this can be used whenever you wan to correct exposure and contrast errors.
As mentioned, the frame rate is also very fast as it can capture about 3.5 frames in a split second. This is much better as compared to the old models that can only capture 3 frames per second. This can be used even with successive shots as the JPEG buffer is also improved.
The most noticeable difference is the 3-inch LCD. One of the best things about this is that you can easily preview the images that you have captured. However, you also need to know that this still has the same number of pixels as compared to the other models. And because of this, you can expect that this has a lower resolution and this is certainly not a good treat. Another disadvantage is that the buttons are crammed on the rear of the camera because the CD screen takes so much of the space.
But in terms of image quality, this is certainly the best in the DSLR line. The noise can go as low as ISO 800-1600 and this is certainly good especially since the JPEG image is also clean.
